PRESS RELEASE

Summer Product Bundles from CreamWare - Codeword: Hammerfarm and PowerXTC

June 22, 2001

CreamWare is offering two special product bundles available during the summer months.

Lurking behind the designation 'Codeword: Hammerfarm' is a bundle consisting of Luna II equipped with the Luna ADAT expansion board. The expansion adds two ADAT interfaces and an additional Z-Link port to the Luna II DSP card.

Hardware features:

  • PCI card with I/O board (I/O board does not require a slot)
  • 36 inputs and outputs: 2 analog, 2 S/PDIF, 16 ADAT, 16 Z-Link
  • 24-bit/96 kHz support
  • High-speed drivers for ASIO 2.0, EASI, DirectSound, MME, tripleDAT, GigaSampler, OMS Sound Manager
  • 'ASIO in hardware' for 0% CPU load
  • MIDI interface

In addition to the above, all Luna II's DSP accelerated features are also available - onboard recording and surround mixers with integrated equalizer and compressor DSP effects, compatibility with the extensive Pulsar/SCOPE plug-in library, virtually unlimited real-time signal routing, and our unique audio driver management system.

The second summer action special is 'PowerXTC'. This bundle features the same software package provided with the well-known Pulsar XTC system, including over 30 professional effects, synthesizers and samplers, all of which can be used just like ordinary VST plug-ins. In this bundle, however, the XTC plug-ins are processed on the powerful SCOPE /SP DSP card. With its fifteen 32-bit SHARC DSPs this card is the most efficient audio board currently available.

The PowerXTC bundle also includes an I/O daughterboard to provide 20 superior-quality inputs and outputs (2 analog, 2 S/PDIF, 16 ADAT). Using 'Direct Mode' with the I/O card, all XTC instruments can be played live with no delay whatsoever. And thanks to the Ultra Low Latency Interface, an extensive set of drivers, and 'ASIO in hardware', PowerXTC also serves as a highly-professional multi-I/O system.
