Downloadable J-Station 2.0 Firmware Upgrade Available

August 13, 2001Johnson Amplification has released the new 2.0 firmware for the J-Station, making a number of changes,
most notably the addition of new amp models and speaker cabinets.
Version 2.0 has increased the number of
total amp models by 6 to 24, including new models for both guitar and bass, and added 7 new cabinet types.
With the release of version 2.0 for the J-Station, there is also a new release of the J-Edit Editor/Librarian. It is
necessary to uninstall the old version and install a new version of J-Edit in order to edit and save presets using your computer.
Other changes include faster program saves, added compatibility to the DigiTech Control-X Foot Controller, changed tapit to change delay time on second key press, removed Master Level and Volume Pedal out of Deep Edit, and a modified Spring Reverb.
The firmware update can be downloaded from the Johnson Amplification web site as an Windows executable.
