New MPC2000 Release from Kid Nepro Sounds50 Floppy Disks for the Akai MPC2000 Sampling Workstation August 2, 2001Kid Nepro has added 50 New Floppy Disks to their MPC2000 sample
collection. The new disks are a response to the most frequently requested
samples from MPC2000 owners.
"Certain requests keep popping up so we decided to get back into the
MPC's after spending the last couple of years programming new Triton
sounds": said Steve Proto, head programmer for Kid Nepro. "Our MPC
library has gotten a great response since we started making MPC sounds
for the original MPC60 back in the early 90's. We wanted to update our
library with the most contemporary new samples for the MPC2000 Series. We
will also soon be releasing our Millennium-3 which will have all the new
samples on CD-ROM or Zip Disk. That should be available in sometime in
August".
The new sounds contain a mix of Hip Hop Kicks and Snares, Bell Tree, Sub
Basses, Wah & Funk Guitars, Gunshots & Crowd Noises, Orchestra Hits, Bass
Lines, Band Riffs and Drum Beats. Also..new samples from Kid Nepro's
Triton collection including new MOSS, Classic Synth, Soundtrack/Film and
Vintage sounds. Floppy disks are priced at $10 each or buy ten and get
one free.
