New Magnetic-Head Drumset Torque Key from Evans
 May 30, 2001Evans drumheads is now offering drummers a magnetic-head torque key for tuning up their drumsets.
The Evans Torque Key has an ergonomic grip for maximum comfort, a knurled knob for quick spinning and a slip-resistant magnetized head that holds the key in place for fast tightening and loosening. The magnetic head also prevents the Evans Torque Key from rattling during play when left on a drum lug for convenience.
The key's torque handle can be set to a desired tension, so when the lug reaches the pre-set tension it will release, making for even tensioning and helping drummers attain more accurate tuning. The Evans Torque Key is not recommended for use with drum hardware.
