MultiLoops Updates and ACIDizes Multitrack Drum Loop Libraries October 19, 2001MultiLoops announces that they have updated their first release, Naked
Drums: Rock Vol. - The Essentials. Version 2.0 now contains over 2 gig
worth of grooves, fills and single hit samples. This 4 cd-rom set has all
original grooves from the first version and adds over 100 more. The new
retail price is $149.95. Current users can upgrade with $20 and their
original cd-roms either through their dealer or directly from MultiLoops.
MultiLoops also announces that they have "Acidized" both of their Naked
Drums releases, Rock Vol.1 - The Essentials Rev 2.0 and Pop R&B, making them
fully compatible with Sonic Foundry's ACID 3.0. Windows users can now open
the multitrack loops in ACID 3.0 and make tempo changes in real time while
still retaining control over the individual mix elements.
MultiLoops is the developer of Naked Drums multitrack drum loop libraries.
Naked Drums is available in 24-bit Sound Designer II (Mac) and 24-bit .WAV
(Windows) formats. Included on both versions, are tempo mapped session
documents for Digidesign1s Pro Tools software. Pro Tools FREE, LE and TDM
users can open up these sessions and begin working immediately to the Pro
Tools tempo grid, making it the perfect song construction tool. Since the
loops are in multitrack format, users can use Pro Tools features such as
Beat Detective and Sound Replacer to mold them into their own creation. For
other software, such as Digital Performer, Logic, Cubase, and Cakewalk,
users can import the individual tracks for each loop by navigating the tempo
folders and selecting the like files.
