With over 4GB on 9 cd-roms, Odd-Time Grooves is the third title released by
MultiLoops this year. Odd-Time Grooves drum loops are played and recorded
in odd meters by a live acoustic drummer. The set contains 12 individual
mixable tracks for each loop, fill, and single hit sample. Tracks consist
of Snare Top, Snare Bottom, Kick Beater, Kick Front, Tom1, Tom 2, Tom3,
Stereo Overheads, Hats, Ride and Room. The retail price is $249.95.
MultiLoops is the developer of Naked Drums multitrack drum loop libraries.
Naked Drums is available in high quality, 24-bit Sound Designer II (Mac) and
24-bit .WAV (Windows) formats. Included on each title are tempo mapped
session documents for Digidesign's Pro Tools software. Pro Tools FREE, LE
and TDM users can open up these sessions and begin working immediately to
the Pro Tools tempo grid. Windows versions are fully compatible with Sonic
Foundry's ACID 3.0. Windows users now open the multitrack loops in ACID 3.0
and make tempo changes in real time. For other software, such as Digital
Performer, Logic, Cubase, and Cakewalk, users can import the individual
tracks for each loop by navigating the tempo folders and selecting the audio
files.
