SEK'D Introduces Prodif A for Easy ADAT I/O

(Click for a close-up)
June 29, 2001

The PRODIF A is the latest addition to the line of SEK'D-Digital Audio-Cards. With one ADAT input and output, 8 channels of 24-bit digital audio can be transferred to and from digital mixers, multitrack-recorders or AD/DA-converters.

The card can also be used with software-synthesizers and samplers such as. NEMESYS' Gigasampler, VST soft synths to go straight into digital multitrack or into a digital mixer. The card includes a multi-client driver architecture that allows low latency under ASIO, GSIF, and DirectSound for these applications.

In addition, the hardware is ready for the new ASIO-in Hardware feature, which allows ASIO to access the card's memory directly. This further reduces CPU load. This feature will be available with one of the next driver-updates.
