June 20, 2001After a long absence from the Pulsar scene Obsidian Sofwtare has announced the Pulsar ToolBox, giving Pulsar user previously unheard of control & flexibility in circuit design, bringing it closer to the degree of control
enjoyed by Scope users.
With dozens of new devices from existing Pulsar atoms front-ended for the user's use and a host of cutsom Obsidian atoms,
Pulsar users can now include Filters, LFO's, Synth Oscillators, Adders, Mixers, Panners, FX blocks and much more directly
into their projects without resorting to creating a modular project to perform simple tasks such as panning, filtering or
centre-removal of signals. The provision of four types of in-project data display boxes allows the project creator to
immediately see frequency settings for oscillators, filters, etc, dB Cut levels for gain/attenuation devices and other functions
immediately and in realtime.
Pulsar ToolBox costs $15. For more information, visit their web site at www.obsidianuk.com. |
