Sonic Reality Releases Sonic Synth VST/MAS Plug-In

development company Sonic Reality has released their Sonic Synth multi-instrument plug in first announced at
Winter Namm, 2001. Sonic Synth includes over 2
gigabytes of high quality sounds, lush synth and effects programming and
an easy to use interface. From pianos, guitars,
drums, orchestral and ethnic instruments to atmospheric pads, searing
leads and deep bass, Sonic Synth has all the sounds you'd expect from
a keyboard workstation, but because it uses your computer for storage
and ram, Sonic Synth offers larger memory sounds than can be found in
expensive keyboards.
Sonic Synth combines Sonic Reality's sound and programming content with
IK Multimedia's Sample Tank engine so it is "ready to play" (no
additional sampler required) and plugs right into VSTi and MAS
compatible programs such as Cubase, Logic and Digital Performer.
Sonic Synth ships with Sample Tank LE software which has most of the
same features that Sample Tank XL has excluding only the Akai import
feature and Sonic Synth has 4 midi channels/1 stereo output per instance
with up to 8 simultaneous instances (depending on CPU power).
C.E.O and founder of Sonic Reality/eSoundz, Dave Kerzner says, "We plan
to do other products under the eSoundz label that utilize IK
Multimedia's Sample Tank engine, Bitheadz' Unity engine as well as other
company's technological developments which might help bring our sounds
to the hands and ears of more musicians." Sonic Reality is currently
marketing Sonic Synth through their own eSoundz division as well as IK
Multimedia. "Ilio still remains our exclusive distributor of CD ROM
sample libraries in Akai, Emu and other sampler formats." says Kerzner.
"We created the eSoundz label to concentrate on native software sampler
and direct VST, MAS and other plug in formats."
