Palmetto Releases Sound Advice 2.0 for Palm OS

June 5, 2001Palmetto Logic Software, a developer of software for Palm OS based handheld computers has just released Sound Advice v2.0, an audio-electronics reference tool designed for use by musicians, sound men, disc jockeys, music store retail personnel, etc.
Sound Advice v1.0 has already been sold in 10 different countries around the world.
With Sound Advice v2.0, users can quickly look up definitions on more than 200 audio terms. Users can also look up more than 100 answers to common audio problems. Bookmark any advice topic, attach personal notes, and "beam" these notes to other Sound Advice users via infrared (on IR equipped devices). Sound Advice can also calculate power, current, resistance, and voltage as well as convert between RMS, average, and peak values. Users can access quick-reference charts to find the precise audio frequency of musical notes, the parallel impedance of almost any speaker combination, and more. On-screen help is available, throughout.
Sound Advice is priced at $7.95 US.
