Audio Ease Ships VST Wrapper 3.0 for Digital Performer

Audio Ease has released VST Wrapper 3.0 for MOTU Audio System (MAS). VST Wrapper allows MOTU Digital Performer and AudioDesk users to run a staggering amount of Macintosh VST plug-ins, including hundreds of "freeware" VST plug-ins available from many sources on the internet.
The VST Wrapper is designed to be transparent to the user. After installation, all properly installed VST plug-ins and VST instruments on the user's computer appear in the Digital Performer channel inserts. The VST plug-ins are inserted and removed just like MAS plug-ins.
"With the release of version 3, VST Wrapper's VST-Instrument support is vastly improved." said Jim Cooper, MOTU marketing director. "More instruments are supported, MIDI timing is far more accurate, there is support for VST bank and preset loading/saving, and multiple audio outputs from VST instruments can now be routed to MAS buses. Version 3 gives MOTU users everything they need for VST plug-in and instrument hosting."
The VST Wrapper V3 costs $49.95 and upgrades cost US$20. The upgrade is free for everyone that purchased the VST Wrapper after November 14, 2001.
There is a demo that emits a short blip once in a while. The Demo can be
unlocked with a registration number that the user receives immediately upon purchase at the Audio Ease on-line store.
