April 24, 2002

New for 2002, the G-25 Series is a new addition to Garrison Guitars' line of acoustic guitars. The G-25 integrates Garrison's patented bracing technology, high quality components and distinctive tone woods.

"The G-25 was partially designed by one of our Garrison Artists, Maureen Ennis of the Ennis Sisters", says Chris Griffiths, Garrison Guitars president and founder, "we wanted to take the brilliant tonal pairing of Canadian Birch and Western Red Cedar and bring it to the next level acoustically and cosmetically. We've upgraded to ebony, abalone, gold and tortoise shell... now the G-25 sounds AND LOOKS like a guitar that's twice its price!"

High gloss finish solid Western Red Cedar top, satin finish solid Canadian Birch back and sides, Ebony fret board and bridge, Abalone inlay on fret board and bridge pins, Garrison gold plated tuners, Rosewood peghead veneer on solid Canadian Birch neck, and tortoise shell pickguard are all found on the new Garrison G-25. Also, included is the Buzz Feiten Tuning System, D'Addario strings, TUSQ nut and saddle, and for those wanting to go live with their G-25, optional Fishman Prefix Electronics.

The Garrison G-25 is equipped with the Griffiths Active Bracing System and the Griffiths Integrated Blocking System, Garrison's revolutionary method of guitar construction. By integrating the binding, kerfing, bridge plate and braces into one glass-fibre component, the top is activated by having all parts vibrate in unison. It also provides enhanced structural stability that would have taken hours to construct using traditional techniques. Single unit bracing means no matter where you create a vibration inside a Garrison Guitar, the resonance has an uninterrupted path to travel throughout the instrument, resulting in a full, rich sound. The G-25 comes standard with a custom-fit Garrison hardshell case, Limited 5-Year Transferable Warranty and is available right and left-handed, cutaway and in 12-string models.

Retailing price for the G-25 is $739.99 USD.
