Jazz'R Special Edition Guitar from Jackson/Charvel

Jackson/Charvel Guitars has announced the new Jazz'R Special Edition.
The Jazz'R SE is a hollowbody electric guitar with similar features to an acoustic. The body of the guitar is made of spruce with a mahogany top and back. The top and back are connected to the body wings at only the perimeter of the guitar and the bridge area, this allows the guitar to breathe and sing similar to an acoustic guitar.
The three piece neck (quartersawn maple/ebony/quartersawn maple) is a hard "V" shape and runs through the body for increased sustain, warmth and clarity. The Jazz'R SE uses a Bigsby tremolo, Seymour Duncan Custom Shop pickups, inlayed control knobs, special fingerboard inlay, 22 medium frets, 25" scale, bone nut, mother of pearl truss rod cover, locking Sperzel tuners, gold hardware, branded logo and a special L.A. Rivergator case.
Only 20 of these instruments will be made. Each is made in Jackson's USA production plant in California and are scheduled for an early October 2002 delivery.
