SpinAudio announced the release of ASIO FX Processor ME, a special multi-channel edition of ASIO FX Processor.
ASIO FX Processor ME is a VST 2.0 and ASIO 2.0 host combined in a standalone application that works as a real-time multi-channel multi-effects processor.
The main feature of Multi-channel Edition is that it can process up to 16 input channels with 8 loaded VST plugins simultaneously. Each plugin slot can be connected to up to 2 inputs and 2 outputs without any restrictions - different plugins can use the same inputs and outputs - thus the application can work as a mixer.
ASIO FX Processor ME is not limited to process audio streams from physical inputs. Some audio cards (For example: Soundscape Mixtreme, Ego System audio cards with DirectWire support) provide internal audio routing between audio applications, so it can be used, for instance, to process GigaStudio outputs with VST plugins in real-time.
For those who need a remote real-time hands-on control over loaded plugins, ASIO FX Processor ME provides automation of plugin parameters through MIDI - convenient MIDI map editor with a learn function is available within the application.
