Oz Music Code Serves Up Alphabet Soup for OS X
Oz Music Code has released a new sample
playback utility for Mac OSX by the name of Alphabet Soup. This
easy to use utility is designed for anyone who uses samples and loops in their music.
Intended to be played like an instrument, Alphabet Soup's interface is a
visual representation of your computer's keyboard. Just drag and drop your
audio files onto the interface. From there you can trigger the loops and
samples with your computer's keyboard. It's as simple as that.
Alphabet Soup allows you to use virtually any
audio file type. Mono, stereo, 16 and 24 bit, WAV, AIF, MP3, Ogg Vorbis,
SND and AU files can all be triggered at the same time. In addition, you also have control over volume and pan for each sound on
each key. Just drag the dot at the top of each key left/right for pan and
up/down for volume.
Alphabet Soup can be used to play single hit samples, loops, or very long
files.
Included in the package are samples from Sonic Emulations and a free
Alphabet Soup T-shirt.
Alphabet Soup requires OSX 10.2, or later and has an SRP of US$129. This product is currently shipping.
