The new top-of-the-line MIDI Guitar controller from Starr Labs, the Ztar D3X MIDI guitar controller, incorporates most, if not all of the hardware and software options offered by the company. The D3X has a diamond-shaped body custom-finished with a neo-tribal graphic over a deep black sparkletone.
The instrument sports 12 programmable Expression pads, 6 String Triggers, 6 KeyTriggers, palm-mounted Joystick, Ribbon controller, Sustain pedal, Volume pedal, and Breath control ports, NeckSensor strip mounted at the edge of the fingerboard, a 200 Kit expansion RAM card, USB port, embedded Wavetable Sound Card with headphone preamp.
Software includes a looping sequencer, unlimited tunings, multiple fingerboard Zoning and splitting features, multiple notes-per-string Poly-mode, multiple trigger modes to emulate a wide variety of musical styles, Chord-Capture mode, Auto-Sustain mode, Multi-Harp mode that assigns a programmable chord to each key on the fingerboard for simplified fretting.
The same set of features is available in a Strat-style body shape called the V3X MIDI Guitar controller.
