Built to replicate the sound and performance of those long admired humbucking
pickups, these matched sets are hand-wound using a winding process
designed, built, and operated exclusively by WCR.
WCR has been custom hand-winding for over ten years. Each coil has
the complete individual attention of 1 person, and great care is
applied to be sure that this extraordinary winding pattern is followed
meticulously.
Lots of different variables are used in this process involving wire
type & gauge, tension, winding speed, winding patterns, potting
materials and techniques, as well as magnet types, dimensions, and
placement.
These pickups are designed primarily for use on LP's, and SG's, but
will work in any guitar. Tonal qualities are of the finest "Southern"
types, smooth, yet driven.
Note-separation is an outstanding feature with these pickups, even in
a high-gain situation.
Potting of these pickups uses WCR's exclusive material designed for
high-performance "squeal" suppression, without the usual suppression
of other much-desired tones, harmonics, etc.
Easily installed with stock mounts and hardware, these come with 2-
conductor pigtails, plus a separate chassis ground, all enclosed in a
foil-shielded pigtail for improved noise reduction (30%) compared to braided
styles.

are available in Chrome, Nickel, Black and Gold (Gold is extra, and
