The latest release of Numerology adds three major new features and
several other important updates.
At the top of the list is support
for AudioUnit hosting. Now Numerology can be used as a self-contained
virtual studio for sequencing, synthesis, effects and mixing.
Complementing these new audio features are a DualLFO module and
parameter modulation features. With these additions, you can quickly
add sequencer or LFO based modulation to almost any parameter in
Numerology.
Many tweaks have been added to Numerology to make
it easier for new users to get up to speed. In addition to
auto-routing of control signals, role-specific sequencers, and updated
documentation, all of the example sessions included with the
Numerology download now take advantage of AU hosting to provide
instant demonstrations of Numerology's sequencing features. And, the
improved sync algorithm introduced with Numerology 1.1.2 has now been
tweaked to properly sync to MIDI Clock from Emagic Logic Audio.
As a special bonus, the full 1.2 download also includes a free
DrumSynth plugin from BitShift Audio.
Numerology is a modular MIDI sequencing and Audio Unit plugin host for
Mac OS X. It takes sequencing and modulation metaphors established by
the analog sequencers of the 70's, and implements them in a structured
and highly interactive software environment designed for
experimentation, improvisation and live performance. By using
Numerology in conjunction with Audio Unit plugins and hardware synths,
users can create an open compositional environment that is truly their
own.
Numerology is $70 for Mac OS X, version 10.2.5 or later.
