Kid Nepro Re-Releases their Oberheim OB8 Collection July 3, 2003Kid Nepro had to discontinue their OB8 collection in the early 90's when
they sold their Classic OB8 Synthesizer and could no longer copy the data
cassettes. Through the magic of digital recording and the internet, Kid
Nepro has been able to convert their master cassette into a AIFF and WAV
file format that the OB8 can load through it's cassette interface. All
you need is an Audio Card on your computer to be able to load the sounds
into your old Oberheim.
The collection contains 120 new analog patches - Analog Basses and Leads, Sample &
Hold Synths, Spacy Pads, Sound Effects and even the Classic Jump Sound
made popular by Van Halen in the mid 80's.
This 120 patch collection is not compatible with the early OB8's
that have a 40 patch memory or the OBXA.
Available in AIFF or WAV file format for $25. including free e-mail
delivery. Sounds can be downloaded from the Kid Nepro web site within a
few hours of you placing your order.
