Second Edition of Pro Tools Book Ready

Berklee Press, the publishing division of Berklee College of Music, has released the second edition of the best-selling guide to professional home studio production using industry-standard Pro Tools digital audio software.
Producing in the Home Studio with Pro Tools, Second Edition is published in partnership with Digidesign, creator of the Pro Tools digital audio software. Written by producer, engineer and songwriter David Franz, this book is fo home studio-based artists, producers, and engineers looking to learn or hone production skills and techniques, and how to achieve top-quality recordings.
The second edition is fully updated for the new features of Pro Tools 6 software and Digidesign home studio hardware products, including Digi 002, Mbox, Digi 001, and Digi Toolbox XP.
A new chapter on Digital Audio Editing was added to the book, and new hands-on projects have been added in every chapter. The hands-on projects follow, from start to finish, four songs through the complete production process.
Additionally, there are new, more advanced Pro Tools sessions with audio examples that explain many in-demand Pro Tools techniques, such as how to comp a vocal track, how to set up an effects send, how to tune a vocal track, how to edit a voiceover track, how to design your own sounds using plug-ins, and many others.
