Bomb Factory Releases New Purple Audio MC77 Limiting Amplifier

Bomb Factory, in a joint venture with Purple Audio, announced its latest creation: the Purple Audio MC77 limiting amplifier plug-in.
Between the Bomb Factory 1176 and the Purple Audio MC77, Bomb Factory now offers a choice of two distinctly different sounding FET limiting amplifiers in plug-in form.
Just like all the companies that work with Bomb Factory, MC77 inventor Andrew Roberts was given final approval over the look and sound of the digital product. Bomb Factory's DSP guru Dave Amels spent weeks modeling every nuance of the Purple MC77 from scratch. Bomb Factory's graphic design team held meetings to determine the most shocking shade of purple imaginable.
Bomb Factory's digital replica of the Purple Audio MC77 is now available bundled with the Bomb Factory LA-3A for $599/$399. Existing owners of the LA-3A may download the MC77 at no charge.
The Purple Audio MC77 is also available as part of the Bomb Factory Plutonium Pack. Existing Plutonium Pack customers may also download the MC77 at no charge.
The Purple Audio MC77 plug-in works with Pro Tools HD, HD ACCEL, MIX, Mbox, Digi 001 and Digi 002 systems on MacOS 9, MacOS X and Windows XP. The Purple Audio MC77 hardware (www.purpleaudio.com) works with everything else.
