The challenge: create a great sounding electric guitar that is also light and easy to play. US Masters Guitar Works responds with the new Sportster Skinny series of instruments.
The stability and playability of the Sportster Skinny is enhanced by a US Masters patented neck innovation, the Ever-Tru neck. This design ensures tuning stability and just the right relief in order to provide smooth action. The neck transfers tone to the body through the patented Compression Set Neck Joint. This makes the critical joint rock solid, ensuring optimum interaction between neck and body.
Sportster Skinny features a mahogany body with maple top, a combination long known for its classic tone properties, but a body that is only 1.3 inches thick. The body is available with a highly figured, Grade 5, maple top, or in a wide variety of finishes with a standard maple top. Top binding is also available in a variety of colors.
The Sportster Skinny comes standard with Sperzel tuning machines. A choice of pickup combinations are available including, but not limited to: dual humbucking (with coil-splitting) and dual P-90. A fixed-bridge is standard on the Sportster Skinny. Trem systems are available on the thicher, Sportster Standard body.
