TC Electronic has updated their Native Bundle to version 3.1, adding the Sonic Destructor plug-in and a newly-reduced price tag of USD 299/EUR 260.
The Sonic Destructor plug-in gives Native Bundle users a fast and easy way to "vinylize" or otherwise "dirty-up" audio recordings. The plug-in makes its mark using extreme compression and downsampling and by narrowing the frequency range. Eight lo-fi effects are available - BandPass, Bitter, Clipper, Crackle, Fuzzer, Noise, Rumble and Squeezer. For those looking to push the envelope, Sonic Destructor also features a preset randomizer with dynamic parameter knobs, which change depending on the effect loaded. All effects can be used simultaneously - and each module may be loaded multiple times.
Additionally, about 80 presets previously available to Native Bundle users as a separate download called the "Artist Kit", are now included in the version 3.1 software.
Native Bundle is a suite of VST plug-in processing tools such as equalization, dynamic processing (incl. de-essing), reverberation, limiting and maximizing. All plug-ins were rewritten in version 3.0 to maximize system performance and sound quality. With Sonic Destructor, the number of included plug-ins will be 7. Preset management for Native Bundle is now independent from the host application, so that presets created with the internal preset manager are accessible from any VST or AU application, on Mac and Windows systems.
