Guitarist Frank Gambale chose Carvin to design and build his ideal guitar
rig, beginning with the TN100 Tone Navigator. No digital amp modeling here, just pure
analog signals with the luxury of digital controls, storing 100 of your
favorite patches along with 20 Frank Gambale patches.
The TN100 is a digitally controlled preamp with all-analog preamp signal
path. No algorithms of simulated tone
here. The Tone Navigator's EQ section includes the normal
Bass, Mid, Treble, and Presence controls plus two Mid-sweep stages. These dual
mid-sweep controls allow you to tweak the mids twice.
The Tone Navigator
allows you to store 100 MIDI accessible patches of Clean 1 (scooped),
Clean 2 (flat),
Crunch, or Distortion tones. The internal dual effects engines add
Reverb,
Echo, Chorus, and Flange effects to any patch. The optional FS22 footswitch
will allow remote selection of a patch. For full MIDI remote control,
just add a MIDI footswitch.
