The Legend of China Returns as Multi-Format Collection
 October 21, 2003Originally released in 1999, Discovery Sound has released a new version of The Legend of China sample library that now includes a CD-ROM and Audio CD.
The CD-ROM contains 387 files in Acidized .Wav and REX2 format and the Audio CD
contains 339 phrases.
The collection offers loops and shots of
percussion, stringed and wind instruments, plus the phantasmagoric voices by
Peking Opera actors and actresses. The
CD-ROM includes 36 kinds of the tone data corresponding to a multi-sampling
and the Audio CD does include 15 kinds of the sound effects which were caught on
the street corners in Beijing, Shanghai and wherever in China.
