E-mu Intros New Expansion ROM and Cuts Prices on All ROMs

E-MU Systems has added the new X-Lead V2 to their series of expansion ROMs for the Proteus line of sound modules, Command Stations and keyboards, as well as new, lower pricing on its entire line of Expansion ROMs.
The X-Lead V2 ROM delivers all of the sounds and presets of the Xtreme Lead-1 Sound Module, plus an additional bank of 127 presets originally only available in the XL-7 Command Station and XK-6 Keyboard. The 32 MB soundset delivers 640 dance presets that include leads, pads, analog synths, basses and drum kits-- all optimized for E-MU's synthesis engine and mapped to a host of real-time controllers.
The X-Lead V2 Expansion ROM will be available in mid-November 2003 and has a suggested U.S. retail price of $129.
New, Lower Pricing on all E-MU Proteus Family Expansion ROMs
E-MU has also announced lower pricing on all 13 of its Expansion ROMs for the Proteus family of products, with prices starting at $79.99.
