Cat's-Eye ESP Custom Analog Effects announced the latest addition to their line of fuzzes. The Hybrid Fuzz is a germanium / silicon hybrid that's fat, fuzzy and loud.
Based on an optimized version of the Fuzz Face circuit, it's intended to deliver authentic 60's tone through a small combo, while still capable of being a "Tone Monster" through a larger amp. Moreover, the Hybrid Fuzz is guaranteed not to pick up radio, overheat or display any of the other annoying problems usually encountered with vintage style fuzzboxes.
