Weiss Engineering Intros PCM to DSD Software

Weiss Engineering, distributed in the USA by LasVegasProAudio, will be show the P2D native software designed to convert PCM files to DSD files on a Windows based computer at AES NYC 2005. The input sampling rate can be any standard rate between 44.1k and 192k with up to 32-bit wordlength in fixed or floating point format. File formats supported as input are WAV, AIFF, SND, AV, and RAW. Output formats are DSDIFF or DSD RAW.
The P2D allows for flexible routing of input to output channels/files. Different modulator and upsampler characteristics are user selectable. A log window shows time tagged events like overloads.
