There is only one day left to help Peavey Electronics, Hank Williams Jr and Jack Daniel's raise money for Hurricane Katrina relief. We're inviting all our friends to participate in a special online auction to win a Peavey Jack Daniel's guitar autographed by Bocephus himself!
Hank Williams Jr., a country music icon and the owner of such hits as "Born to Boogie," "A Country Boy Can Survive" and "All My Rowdy Friends Are Coming Over Tonight," donated $125,000 from his October 14 concert in Choctaw, Mississippi to Hurricane Katrina relief. During the event he also signed a special black-and-white Peavey Jack Daniel's guitar as a way to raise even more money for the rebuilding efforts along the Gulf Coast.
This prized, playable piece of memorabilia is up for auction on eBay until December 10 at 6:30 p.m. PST, and we want everyone in on the action. The Peavey Jack Daniel's Hurricane Relief Benefit Auction is open to U.S. residents aged 21 or older at www.peavey.com/relief, and all proceeds will go toward the American Red Cross's hurricane relief operations.
In addition, Peavey has pledged 10% of revenues from PV® Series musical instrument and microphone cable sales to the Red Cross for hurricane relief. For more information, visit their web site at www.peavey.com.
