Cocktail & Percussion ReFill
February 11, 2005The first of two planned titles ReFill titles from Toontrack Music, Cocktail & Percussion features the sounds of a massive percussion kit from Meinl Percussion and 20's style Yamaha Cocktail jazz drum kit, played by percussionists Mikael Emsing and Per Mikaelsson laying out grooves on bongos, congas, tambourines, cowbells, triangles, and much more. The sounds in the ReFill are originally from the dfh Superior virtual instrument.
Contents include:
- 10,000 individual samples
- Dual ReFill versions (16bit and 24bit)
- Standard GM mapping as well as extended dfh SUPERIOR mapping
- MIDI files
- REX Files
- NN-XT Patches with presets and Individual instruments
- ReDrum patches
The sounds were recorded to a Pro Tools HD system at 192 Khz/24bit resolution. All samples were edited and dithered to 44.1 Khz 16- and 24-bit with ambient and close miced recordings creating a spacious arrangement of textures.
