Free Podcasting Site Launched

Music technology retailer Sweetwater has announced a new service for customers and visitors to the company's website--a complete podcasting site-within-a-site entitled Sweetwater Podcast Central. Among the many features of the new podcasting site is a podcast directory where customers and visitors can upload their podcasts. Sweetwater will host the uploaded podcasts, making them available for download to the public. The podcasts will be listed in the directory and hosted completely free of charge.
In addition to the free podcast directory and hosting, the site also contains a comprehensive step-by-step guide describing how to create podcasts written by Sweetwater Editorial Director Mitch Gallagher, and a listing of useful podcasting software tools--many of them free downloads.
