ActoGuitar Shares 100% Of Revenue With Contributors
October 5, 2006
ActoGuitar.com, a guitar learning community, has become a fully open business: guitarists and guitar businesses are invited to share their knowledge about playing guitar, in exchange for which they will earn ActoShares - points, essentially analogous to stock shares, whose collective value corresponds to 100% of the advertising and referral revenue that the ActoGuitar community earns.
"ActoGuitar is now a business whose profits are up for grabs - anyone can come in and earn by sharing their knowledge," said Simit Patel, aka Kid Mercury, Director and founder of ActoGuitar. ActoGuitar allows any guitarist or guitar business to setup a channel where they can share knowledge and earn ActoShares each time their content is viewed.
To prevent spam and to ensure that content is up to ActoGuitar's standards, ActoGuitar's community moderators - currently just its founder, Kid Mercury - will arrange the site so that the best and most useful content is visible, and that or contributions below ActoGuitar's standards for excellence are deleted. For more information, visit their web site at www.actoguitar.com.
