Eastman Guitars Introduces Otto D'Ambrosio-Designed El Rey Series Guitars

Otto D'Ambrosio and Eastman Guitars launched the new El Rey series of semi-hollow electric guitars at the National Association of Music Merchandisers in Anaheim, CA. The series was designed by noted guitar builder Otto D'Ambrosio.
These completely handcarved 14" wide guitars are for the player who demands tomorrow's cutting edge instruments, today. With the patent pending "neck block cutaway" construction providing superior upper fret access, bold signature styling, and easy playability, Eastman El Rey guitars are ideal for any musical application. The El Rey series features Kent Armstrong pickups, complete volume, tone, and switching options, gold plated Gotoh hardware and a 25" scale length. Lightweight and versatile, these handcrafted, solid wood creations come in three different variations: the El Rey Standard Jazz with a mahogany body and spruce top; El Rey Deluxe Jazz with maple body and spruce top; and the El Rey Deluxe Rock with mahogany body and maple top. Otto D'Ambrosio has been a guitar designer and builder for nearly ten years and produces handmade archtop guitars in his Providence RI shop.
