IndieSFX Releases Casual Sounds Sound Effect Collection
October 5, 2006
Game sound effects specialists IndieSFX have released the Casual Sounds sound effects collection for casual games.
Designed with independent game developers in mind, the new set contains an array of switches and levers, some nice chest and door effects (real and sci-fi) and sliding objects.
The most versatile aspect of Casual Sounds is the set of general game event noises for things like bonuses, pick-ups, level exits opening—the sort of sounds almost all games use. Some of the real item recordings include clock ticks, a carpenters tape measure and country door bolts.
Casual Sounds is available from www.indiesfx.co.uk on CD-ROM or by instant download in easy to access zip files. All sound effects are original and supplied in mono and stereo 16-bit 44100hz wav format. Visit the site for audio previews and a complete sound list.
As the last sound effects release of 2006 this completes the The 2006 Collection, the annual bundle of this year's output which (like the whole library set) features a 25% discount. Annual bundles can be puchased year on year for the best value. For more information, visit their web site at www.indiesfx.co.uk.
