KeyToSound proudly announces the INetSynth software synthesizer. The INetSynth is a software synthesizer designed by virtual instrument pioneer Max Gronlund, founder and president of KeyToSound.

The INetSynth can be played as a standalone instrument or integrates with most DAW's. The INetSynth supports Audio Units, RTAS, and VST plug-in formats on both Mac and PC platforms.

The INetSynth is modeled after a traditional classic subtractive FM synthesizer and offers powerful features you won't find (or hear) with any other synthesizer. For starters, the Resonance Noise Oscillator or "R-Noise" Oscillator is a unique type of Oscillator that enriches the depth of the timbre and can easily give any sound an edgy attitude, appealing to producers, composers and sound designers alike.

Classic Oscillator waveforms are covered, but the INetSynth also gives you "Multi" Oscillators to use in creating your sound. A Multi Oscillator is a stack of Saw Tooth Oscillators that are slightly detuned from each other. This Multi Oscillator stack produces a natural and bright sounding timbre. The INetSynth has many pre-programmed stacks available for detuning and modulation, giving you the power to create unlimited sonic possibilities.

The INetSynth has a True Stereo signal path throughout its entire sound engine. This True Stereo signal includes the Oscillators, Filters, and Effects. A True Stereo signal path simply enhances the image of the sound and creates a whole new realm of synthesizer programming.

The XWM ™ or Extended Wavetable Memory technology unique to the INetSynth accommodates playback of presets made with large stereo samples by providing key-maps and individual loop points for both left and right channels of a stereo sample. This technology not only produces mind-blowing sounds, but also handles sample presets efficiently so you get the best performance possible from your computer with lower latency on playback.

The Dynamic CPU Load Management or DCLM™ of the INetSynth does exactly what it says. It manages the CPU load by allocating CPU resources specifically for the oscillators, filters, LFO's, envelopes and effects when they are needed. This ultimately enables the maximum performance from your system allowing greater polyphony of complex sounds without having to increase the host application's playback buffer.

When you register the INetSynth, an online NetNotes™ account is created for you. Your NetNotes™ account opens the door to a user-based community that endlessly provides INetSynth presets. You will also have new sounds and presets to audition and acquire. The INetSynth has a built in browser, connecting you to your online account without the need of a web browser (Internet connection is required).

With the INetSynth online features you can:

  • Browse the large online INetSynth Preset community
  • Audition (play or sequence) INetSynth presets designed by other users in real time
  • Download INetSynth presets to your local hard drive
  • Upload INetSynth presets to your account and make them available to others
  • Manage your NetNotes™ account

Buying a collection or library of samples and presets only to use maybe a handful of them is now considered an outdated method of acquiring new sounds. Why buy a hundred presets if you only want one or two of them? With NetNotes™ and the INetSynth, you can acquire the presets as you want them, not because you have to! Plus, if you're a sound designer by trade, you can acquire NetNotes™ from other users who download and use your INetSynth Presets. The true value of the INetSynth is found in the presets created and shared through your NetNotes™ account.

The INetSynth will start shipping March 20th. The INetSynth can be purchased for $273.00 USD (taxed where applicable) directly through the KeyToSound online shop and through authorized KeyToSound resellers, as they become established.
