Lava Cable Adds German Sommer Cable To Its Product Line

Lava Cable, a high-end custom audio cable shop in Fayetteville, NC, has added German Sommer Cable to its product line. These new cable products include the Sommer Spirit guitar cable and the Quadra Blue Speaker Cable. Lava Cable is the only company in the U.S. offering these products terminated in custom lengths.
The Sommer Spirit is currently the industry standard in Europe for guitar cables and comes with special double braided shielding; an extremely well made outer PVC jacket, and a low capacitance of 24 pF a foot. Neutrik straight and G&H right angle plugs are used and each cable is assembled using German made WBT Silver Solder.
The Quadra Blue is Sommer Cable's best speaker cable. It is a 4-conductor 12 Awg cable made using special litz stranding techniques. It has a large outer diameter of about 1/2" and is terminated using G&H 1/4" plug, banana, spade, or speakon connectors. It is a very smooth musical sounding cable that will significantly enhance any amp head to speaker performance and can be used for high end stereo applications.
The Sommer Spirit retails at $42.95 for a 20 foot cable. The Quadra Blue Speaker Cable retails at $49.95 for a 3 foot cable.
