Michael Kelly recently introduced the new Patriot Vintage guitar in Anaheim, California during the winter NAMM show. The new Patriot Vintage has a look (and a tone) that says it knows its way around the stage and back. Built with a custom over-wound version of the historically solid Michael Kelly PAF-Plus pickups comes dressed down with a "new" vintage worn look with either antiqued bronze hardware on classic gloss white or antiqued chrome hardware on shining gloss black.
The Patriot Vintage's appeal is easy to understand. The classic full bound, well-weathered style is perfect for those that like the look and sound of vintage instruments but can't afford a well functioning model, as well as those who can afford a classic axe, but don't necessarily want to expose their prize to the rigors of daily playing. The solid mahogany Patriot Vintage brings other classic attributes like set-neck construction, 24" scale, Grover tuners and triple binding.
The Patriot Vintage will be available beginning March, 2006. Manufacturer's retail price is set at $570. Visit the Patriot Vintage page for more info.
