The Waldorf Synthesizer Company is now shipping three of their most famous software plug-ins as The Waldorf Edition. The software package contains the company's popular PPG Wave V2 synthesizer, Attack percussion synthesizer, and D-Pole filter plug-ins. The plug-ins are PC/Mac compatible (including Mac Intel Core Duo) and work with applications that support VST 2.0 or AU.
The PPG V.2 synth, modeled after the legendary PPG Wave 2.3, features 32 wavetables, eight-way multi-timbral operation, a synced arpeggiator, and up to 64-voice operation (CPU-dependent). Over 700 presets are included. The Attack percussion synthesizer offers 24 sounds per kit, the ability to play polyphonic bass and lead sounds, synchronized delay effects, and 64-voice operation (CPU-dependent).
36 percussion kits featuring over 850 sounds are included. The D-Pole filter module sports five multimode filters with resonance to self-oscillation, overdrive, selectable 12dB/24dB slope, and ring modulation, plus sophisticated LFO and delay capabilities.
