XO Audio Announces XO Wave Beta Version 0.18.0

XO Audio, LLC, today announced the release of
Version 0.18.0 (Beta) of XO Wave. XO Wave is a digital audio software package for
Mac OS X and Linux designed for mastering CDs, creating podcasts and vodcasts,
recording and mastering music, editing sound for film, and more. This version offers over
fifty new features and bug-fixes, including:
- Support for Audio Units
- Support for CD Text, including ISRC, MCN/UPC and barcode generation
- Support for file and session metadata
- Improved pre-/post- roll support
- Improved ruler and edit window functionality
"This is the last scheduled release before XO Wave 1.0 is released," says XO
Audio LLC founder Bjorn Roche. "We've incorporated a lot of feedback from users into
this release. Thanks to feedback from users, we have improved XO Wave a lot over the
past few months, and we hope to continue working with users on our software until and
after our 1.0 release."
