Carlos Introduces Acoustic Guitar Strings
November 5, 2007
Carlos has introduced Carlos Acoustic Guitar Strings.
A vibrating string has certain resonance frequencies, each associated with a particular pattern of vibration called a vibration mode. The corresponding resonance frequencies are fundamental to the 3 harmonics of the note to which the string is tuned. Wrong-alloyed or bad-coated string will not be set into vibration in the shape of all of these modes and will not continue to vibrate in this shape at the corresponding resonance frequency.
The new "Carlos" strings enable the guitar player to now vary the mixture of amplitudes of the various modes. By plucking at different points on the string he participates in this process with his personal playing dynamics.
In musical terms, the pitch of the note is always the same but the tonal quality can be adjusted: our strings respond actively to a players touch, making your musical identity be a happening.
