The Ottava Magus is a traditional octave fuzz with a not so traditional range of
tones, expressive feel, and inspiring character.
Traditional octave pedals often have a problem with their "intensity" knobs in
that they either sound good cranked up or turned down completely. And when you
did crank them the gain isn't quite enough, when turned down the sound is not
clean enough. The Ottava Magus on the other hand has a usable range throughout
the intensity rotation. On both ends of the intensity range the sound is just a
hair short of insanity and a spot dirtier than clean.
The Ottava Magus combines modern design philosophy with old school
germanium for harmonically rich octave up tones, a full bodied lowend and an
