Institute of Contemporary Music Performance Announces Seven Scholarship Opportunities

The Institute of Contemporary Music Performance is delighted to announce, in conjunction with the its leading partners, the launch of over £30,000 worth of scholarships for deserving students to study on the renowned Institute Diploma in Popular Music Performance from October 2007.
The scholarship categories are as follows:
- GUITAR: Yamaha Guitar Scholarship
- BASS: Musicman Bass Scholarship
- DRUMS: Mapex/Paiste Drum Scholarship
- VOCALS: The Stage Vocal Scholarship
Each category includes one full scholarship (worth £4,950 to the winner) plus 3 partial scholarships (worth £1,000 each).
The Diploma in Popular Music Performance is a specialist one year full time course, developed by the Institute to train and develop students of guitar, bass, drums and vocals for a career in the music industry. Institute Diploma alumni can be found throughout today's music industry, working with artists of the calibre of Babyshambles, Radiohead, Katie Melua, Reef, Keene and KT Tunstall.
The annual programme of Institute scholarships represents a fantastic way for deserving students to access world class training and tuition at the renowned Institute of Contemporary Music Performance in London.
