JamNow.com Enables Musicians To Jam, Record Online
September 18, 2007
JamNow.com has launched a site that enables any musician to broadcast live, original music performances to the world. Band members can jam together from separate locations, fans can stream live music and even talk to their favorite bands in real time with high quality sound. Broadcasting becomes real-time with 2-way audio collaboration between musicians and fans. Sessions are recorded, saved to your locker, and can be posted or downloaded by the musicians. Artists retain all rights to their performances and fans can listen to what is posted anytime. Best of all, JamNow.com is free—to jam, broadcast, record and listen!
Artists, fans, even live venues and blogs can all broadcast live to the whole world—all that's needed is broadband (DSL, Cable or FIOS) web connection, and a Mac or PC. A soundcard or digital audio interface will provide enhanced functionality and sound quality.
In late September, JamNow.com will open the "Bomb Shelter", a 1,000 square foot internet-only venue, booking and broadcasting performances, interviews and exclusive live events from unsigned, independent and major label artists. Rockers, rappers, acoustic guitarists, spoken word artists and all other varieties of creative people will be welcomed to the "Bomb Shelter" and on JamNow.com. Booking requests should be sent to musicians@jamnow.com.
