Joe Barden Engineering expands its double-blade pickup line with the introduction of the J-Style bass pickup for J-Bass™ and similarly designed bass guitars. Joe Barden J-Style pickups maintain authentic J-Bass tone and character but with extended frequency response and articulation that characterizes all Joe Barden pickups. And, like all other Joe Barden pickups, the J-Style pickups are quiet in both live performance and recording.

"Bass players have been asking us for this pickup so that they too would be able experience the same great Joe Barden Tone, Punch, and Response from their basses as guitarists have had with Joe Barden pickups for over 25 years," said Frank Troccoli, President of Joe Barden Engineering. "We are happy to be able to make this pickup available to serve what is arguably the other half of the pickup replacement market. We expect our J-Style pickups to be in our dealers by the end of September or before," said Troccoli.

"My J-Style pickups really let the J-Bass stand up and deliver. The broad frequency response results in more balanced highs, mids, and lows. There's no flat, uni-bass tone here! And, players can use these pickups individually or together without the hum or noise that they have had to endure for years from single coil bass pickups," said Joe Barden, Founder and Chief of Technology Joe Barden Engineering.

Joe Barden J-Style bass pickups are available for both 4 and 5 string bass guitars. Neck and bridge position pickups differ in size to fit into the cavities of the bass without modification to the instrument.

List price is $169.95 each or $294.95 for a set. Available in stores on or before September 30, 2007.
