Mapex Introduces Special Edition Black Panther Etched Stainless Steel Kung Fu Snare Drum

Mapex has introduced a special edition Black Panther etched stainless steel snare drum inspired by the ancient Chinese Martial Art of Kung Fu. The 14x5.5 snare drum has a 1mm stainless steel shell that has been black chrome plated and then etched with graphics representing the various disciplines of the art of Kung Fu.
The seven symbols that surround the drum represent the arsenal of Kung Fu weaponry: spear, hammer, wand, knife, fist, sword and bow," explains Hibbs. "Each discipline is rudimental in nature and must be practiced diligently in order to one day achieve greatness."
In addition to the ornamental steel etching, the batter head of the drum is also emblazoned with the symbols of Kung Fu and the Chinese Symbol for Black Panther in red.
The Black Panther Kung Fu Snare Drum (BPST455KFU) carries an MSRP of $629.99 and comes with a semi-rigid, padded Black Panther carrying case, which has an additional retail value of $129.99.
