MeetYourBand.com Online Band Community Launches

A social network for musicians was launched on March 14th, 2007. MeetYourBand.com is a new, free website for all types of musicians, blending classified ads with permanent, searchable profiles.

This website is a community for musicians to find other local musicians with similar interests, ranging from specific genres to future goals and aspirations. As an individual, you can find a jamming partner, someone to form a new band with, or a band seeking its missing members. You may also list yourself as a solo artist looking for gigs, or as a music tutor needing students.

As a band member, you are able to set up a profile on your band's behalf and list the members of the band and the instrument(s) they play. If they have their own profile on the site, you can link them to the band's page. You can also list which members your band is lacking if any, or that you're ready to be hired.
