PSP Xenon is a full band, dual-stage limiter plug-in (AudioUnit, VST and RTAS for MacOSX Universal Binary; VST and RTAS for PC) featuring an integrated Leveller, advanced K-System metering and psychoacoustically optimized wordlength reduction. PSP Xenon offers 64-bit precision processing throughout its entire signal path, and can operate at sample rates up to 192kHz. The plug-in was designed for controlling peaks and crest factors of the recording while preserving its spectral balance and clarity of the transients.

• 64-bit floating-point signal chain (with the support for SSE2 CPU extensions on newer machines) supported sample rates: up to 192 kHz
• wo-stage brickwall limiter with multiple higher order adaptive envelope detectors for reduced aliasing and intermodulation distortion, transient control and low pumping
• oversampled sidechain for automatic protection against inter-sample peaks exceeding the limiter ceiling level
• pre-leveler for controlling the macrodynamics of the recording
• precise vertical metering capable of estimating inter-sample peaks
• K-System metering with built-in pink noise generator for speaker calibration purposes
• triangular p.d.f. dithering with three psychoacoustically optimized noise-shaping curves
