Peavey and Orange County Choppers to Debut OCC Custom Shop Guitar on The Late Show With David Letterman
April 18, 2007
Orange County Choppers will bring their latest chopper design -- along
with a specially designed Peavey Custom Shop guitar -- to "The Late Show
With David Letterman" this Thursday.
OCC founder Paul Teutul and Paul Teutul Jr will crank up their
Letterman appearance by rolling out their latest creation, a
Peavey-themed chopper, and a Peavey OCC guitar crafted by master
builders in the Peavey Custom Shop. The show will air Thursday, April 19
on CBS-TV, following the second Peavey episode of "American Chopper,"
which also airs Thursday (8 p.m. CT on TLC).
The Teutuls also plan to bring the Peavey chopper and guitar to their
Friday-morning appearance on "Fox & Friends" on the Fox News Channel
network.
Music-products maker Peavey Electronics challenged Orange County
Choppers to a custom-shop duel to celebrate the launch of its new online
guitar custom shop.
The "Battle of the Builders" that pits Hartley Peavey and his designers
against Team Teutul — Paul Sr., Paulie and Mikey Teutul and the Orange
County Choppers crew — will culminate on the second Peavey episode of
"American Chopper" on April 19. The show chronicles the design process
behind the Peavey Custom Shop OCC guitar and a Peavey-themed chopper,
which incorporates a working amplifier that really cranks.
