Rain Recording has announced their first AMD processor-based audio workstation called Solstice. Solstice workstations are a new addition to Rain's line of computers built specifically for the demanding needs of professional audio and video production.
Powered by innovative AMD AthlonT 64 X2 dual-core processors, the new Solstice 01 and 02 workstations can support the most demanding applications without the potential bottleneck of a traditional front side bus.
With more efficient and fast communication including memory and video sub-systems, DAW software audio engine computations and file streaming have a wide road to travel on—not to mention high speeds. This means added performance while using less processor power and generating less heat—the hallmarks of Rain Recording's philosophy of component balancing and "Quiet Cool" performance.
Solstice 01: Price $1,499.95
Solstice 02: Price $1,799.95
