WorxAudio Technologies Introduces The TLV10-PMD3 Powered Touring Line Array Loudspeaker System

WorxAudio Technologies proudly introduces the TLV10-PMD3 Powered Touring Line Array. A member of WorxAudio Technologies' TrueLine™ Series, the TLV10-PMD3 is a three-way, high efficiency, line array loudspeaker. Designed as an ultra compact high performance system for the reproduction of speech and music program material, the TLV10-PMD3—with integrated power and DSP capabilities—makes an exceptional choice for a variety of applications, including corporate / industrial theater, medium to large concert reproduction, theatrical musical events, and AV production.

Like all loudspeakers systems in the TrueLine Series, the transducer complement in the TLV10-PMD3 is world-class. This outstanding loudspeaker incorporates a large format, 3-inch voice coil compression driver coupled to a stabilized proprietary FlatWave™ Former (wave shaping device) that delivers clear, penetrating high frequencies over a predictable and controlled coverage area. For the midrange, dual 8-inch cone transducers in a sealed enclosure coupled to the (A.I.M. ™) Acoustic Intergrading Module minimize cone filtering throughout the operating range. And with the twin, 10-inch cone transducers in a vented enclosure that provide a wealth of high energy bass, the TLV10-PMD3 delivers a rich, fully balanced sound that must be heard to be appreciated.

Built to withstand the most demanding portable applications, the TLV10-PMD3's enclosure is constructed from sturdy multi-ply Baltic Birch and is heavily braced for cabinet rigidity. Protecting the enclosure is a multi-layered, catalyzed polyurethane finish that is available in dark gray or black. A 14-guage, perforated, cloth-backed, powder coated steel grill with a high transmission ratio protects the transducer complement. The TLV10-PMD3's custom designed, black anodized, 6061-T6 aircraft aluminum TrueAim™ rigging hardware with 1-degree increments enables the user to easily array the system to the desired coverage area in flown or ground stack mode.

Designed expressly for use with this high performance loudspeaker is WorxAudio Technologies' highly-regarded PMD-3 digital power amp. Housed in the rear of the enclosure, the PMD-3 saves space and eliminates the headache of selecting the right amplifier/signal processing to mate with the loudspeaker. Featuring 1,000 watts of pulse pounding adrenalin for the low frequencies, 1,000 watts for the midrange frequencies, and 500 watts for the highs, this powerhouse amplifier incorporates twin digital program processors, a mute switch for each output, a detented volume control, XLR I/O with transformer isolation, and industry-standard AC PowerCon switchgear I/O.
